If you are new to photography and want to get away from shooting in program mode this is the course for you. We start the day with a quick chat over refreshments and then move into the studio to run through some basic technical stuff. Next we will go out on location, for courses in Lincolnshire we use the beautiful local countryside and a disused farm. In Bexley we explore either the Village or areas around the studio. The aim of the first shoot session is to put into practice all the techniques we have explored during the morning classroom session.
Back in to the studio to spend some time looking at a variety of compositional techniques plus a break for Lunch. Then it’s back out to shoot some more. The day is rounded off with a review of everyones photos.
If the weather is not suitable to shoot outside we will be shooting inside the studio.
The courses are designed for 6 students per model. Everyone gets plenty of shooting time.
Digital SLR of any make, high-end bridge cameras that have a range of exposure controls are also suitable. (DSLR camera and lens hire is available from £10 per day.)
